Training
Training courses and workshops on archives or records management are especially tailored to meet the needs of the client.
For community and local archives, emphasis is on the practical and all training is designed to:
- help participants understand core archives concepts and practice without having to read theoretical texts
- let participants learn by working on their own archival holdings
- provide plenty of opportunity for questions and discussion
Other courses can be designed to meet the needs of an archives or a group of archives - including such things as an overview of managing archives (policy to processing), developing policies and procedures, preservation, digitisation for access, using databases for finding aids and other topics.
